ZIONISTS UNITE
The Annual Zion Night Experience dubbed, ‘Ubusuku Bonke’ will take place this Saturday at Mantlwaneng Westwood International School in Gaborone.
Hosted by Joshua Pata and Precious Paledi, the event was formed by a group of Christians from different denominations to promote Zion gospel music and celebrate God’s gift of life.
A whole host of choirs have been lined-up to perform on the night, including: Dr Thulani MananaLiving in Christ Legends, Brothers in Christ, Rev Gama and The Zion Messengers, Bhekani King Mncube and many more.
Tickets are selling for P100 silver, P150 gold and P200 diamond.
SWAGGER’S LOVE SONG
From her base on the idyllic Renunion Island in the Indian Ocean, local export Danielle Swagger is set to flood the airwaves again with a culturally captivating new single, ‘Marato’.
The charismatic young rapper teamed up with Ame Nkoane on the love song, in which expresses the spirit of love, loyalty and appreciation.
“I am hoping to hear #Marato playlisted all over BW airwaves and see couples celebrate their love for it. The song is available across all digital platforms for streaming,” she told Big Weekend.
Planning to end the year with a trademark bang, Swagger added fans should expect visuals for the track ‘Yéléle’ taken from her ‘Are You Ready?’ album sometime this month.
Festive looks set to be a busy period for the star, as she intends to kick-start 2023 by dropping an EP.

GUYVOS HEADS WERDA FESTIVE EXPLOSION
For once, the temperatures won’t be the hottest phenomenon in the Kgalagadi this Saturday, as the Werda Festive Explosion gets excitement rising in the desert.
Leading lights such as Guyvos, Skizoh Bw, Respah and Skhebo will bring the heat.
Adding extra sizzle to the show, acts such as Donny –G, Maesco, Dation, Small, T- Max, Eddy, Rhyme Killer and many more will be in Werda.
Put together by Masedi (Pty) Ltd, the 10pm to 0600hrs event will be held at the village’s community hall.
Entrance is P40 early bird and P60 at the gate, P60 double and P250 VIP. MC Wedu will be the host.
