ALL-WHITE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
Fans of themed outdoor activities can expect an exciting outing at the Thapama All White Outdoor Experience on Christmas Eve.
Slated for the trendy Thapama Pleasure Island pub, the show will be headlined by South African songbird, Basetsana.
The artist is best known for her exploits on Master KG’s hit tune ‘Dali Nguwe’ where she sings alongside Nkosazana Daughter.
The song currently has over 21 million views on Youtube.
She is also featured on Vee Mampeezy’s ‘Moya’ song alongside DJ Ngwazi.
Basetsana will share the stage with legendary DJ Cue, Boogie Sid, Cheng, Bryan Klaas and KRM.
Tickets are on sale at the Cresta Thapama Reception.

IKALANGA INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FEST
Ikalanga culture and talent will take centre stage at the first annual Ikalanga Jazz Festival billed for 26 December at Domboshaba.
Lizibo and Ndingo Johwa’s ‘Battle of Mitanda’ has attracted the attention of equally talented artists like Sereetsi and the Natives, iKalanga rappers: Magilo, Apollo D, Konkrete, Bangu, and DJ Prince De Kok.
The show, according to organizers, was conceptualised to give budding creatives in the northern part of Botswana paid exposure to showcase their art and work towards realising their dreams.
Revellers will be treated to iKalanga dances such as Hossana and the sumptuous cuisine.
The event will also be graced by some of the country’s top iKalanga personalities such as Masi Sithole, Madala Ka The and Kutlwano Molatlhwa.
Early bird tickets are selling for P200 and a standard ticket is P250.
Kiddies tickets are P50, VVIP P1500 (admits two) and VVIP-P1, 000 (admits one).
MAITENGWE UNDER SIEGE
Festivities in Maitengwe village kick-off with the annual All-White Bash at Maitengwe Stadium on Christmas Day.
The bash will be headlined by Slizer, Ndux Jnr and Batshele Brothers Band from Zimbabwe.
Also on the line-up are Skelem Key Fam, DJ Laninah Benz from Kopong FM, DJ Skul, LaJuice, Kells and Ice.
Mbatshi Matshedukani will be the Master of Ceremonies.
A single ticket is P70 and P120 for double.
On New Year’s Day, Tumza will lead a battalion of dancers for the annual Back to School Fest at the stadium.
He’ll share the stage with Maitengwe Super Sounds, Maitengwe Hard Boys and a hosts of local DJs.
Entrance fee is P30 if you’re wearing a uniform and P50 if you’re not.
PALAPYE SPIN BASH
Petrol heads are in Palapye this Thursday morning (22 December) for the Palapye Spin Bash at Little Paws Garden.
Botswana’s top spinners, including Magistrate, The General, Sheriff, King Joe, Ghetto Child, SickBerry will all be burning rubber starting from 10am.
General tickets are P100 and P50 for kids.
