Word reaching Shaya has it that a politician in Themashanga is threatening to divide the village into two with his unfair distribution of the Covid-19 food hampers.
Apparently the politician has usurped power from the Social Workers and is now handing out food hampers along political lines.
The shameless politician according to sources has also made sure that his family members are first on the queue to receive the hampers.
One of his family members also receives old age pension, but she also received the hamper.
