A TASTE OF FAME
The Meeting Joint in the capital city’s upmarket suburb of Phakalane, will get the weekend off to a blockbuster start on Friday night with a show dubbed ‘Famous Sessions’.
The all-fire line-up features: Mafapha, DJ Boza and DJ Dizzo We Wanna Party.
Patrons are advised to arrive early as the session includes an extended ‘happy-hour’ which runs from 1800hrs to 2000hrs, with discount on selected drinks.
The fun continues on Saturday night, this time at Club Twitter in Ramotswa where DJ Boza will be joined by DJ Collaps, El Mania, and Merah as well as resident DJs, Laspinner and Bax.
Entrance both nights is just P20.
DJ FONDO FIRE ON DECKS
DJ Fondo Fire will be the main act on Saturday during the Family Fun Day at Royal Aria Stadium in the border village of Tlokweng.
Organised by football giants, Township Rollers, entrance is set at P30, although those who are members of Popa, as the club is popularly known, will get in for half-price.
It gets even better for Gold and Platinum members, who will not have to fork out a Thebe to get in; that’s right, it’s absolutely free.
Meanwhile, cooler boxes come with a P5 gate charge.
NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
Having worked with big stars in the industry, including Chrispin The Drummer, Maghebula and Charma Gal amongst others, Swag Kids DJs are proving they have what it takes to be headline acts.
The two-man set-up, made up of Karabo Tyga Ntshingane and Vincent Ras Letlhabamang, are gaining an ever expanding fan-base thanks to their unique style of dance while expertly taking care of the decks at the same time.
The Mahalapye natives alternate between Amapiano, Commercial music and Hip Hop.
DJS DO BATTLE
This Friday, a group of talented DJs will cook up a musical storm at Mezzos Cafe in GC’s Fairgrounds location as they go to war for Battle of The DJs.
Presented by, DJ Obza, Wame Mphusu and Pamela Amantle, the show will feature DJs such as Jika, Q The DJ, Santy B, Gee, Kebsoul and Bentiq Soul.
The entertainment kicks off at 1700hrs until late; who will flop and who will fly?
