QUE RAP’S REMIX
Rapper Que-Rap has come up with a new spin on an old classic, ‘Dlala Mapantsula’.
Borrowed from Kwaito group, TKZee’s 2005 hit, the song and its vibey beat take one into nostalgia mode, while the Amapiano elements quickly bring listeners back to modern-day reality.
This sunny remix is a good tune for summer days – which, admittedly seem a long way off given the current, bone-chilling cold snap!
It’s also further proof that Amapiano, Kwaito and Disco come from the same pot.

KAVALUNGU LIVE
Tebza De DJ and DJ Nomza The King, the producers of the controversial hit ‘Kavalungu’, will be in Francistown at Lizard Entertainment this Friday.
Regarded by many as the best song this year, this re-make of the late disco king, Peter Teanet’s song was pulled off all social platforms by the Teanet family for copyright issues.
The two parties, however, seem to have resolved the matter.
The dynamic duo would be supported by DJs Bunz, and DvJ Dreazy Entry for what should be a Friday night of fun is set at just P30.
The South African pair will then head to Palapye to perform at Wamzito Nite Club (yes, that is the correct spelling!) on Saturday.
COOL DOWN IN ORAPA
Thousands who will take part in the OLDM General Manager’s Charity Walk on 19th August will have something extra to look forward to this year.
The Cool Down Festival at Itekeng Stadium promises to be a cracker.
With a star-studded line-up of both local and South African heavy hitters, the diamond town of Orapa will be on fire.
Walkers are advised to stay behind after the walk and come chill with their friends and family.
Some of the performers on the night include: Paige, Ntate Stunna, Charmer Gal, Ezra Neething, Han C and DJ Ngwazi.
It doesn’t come cheap, however, with standard tickets priced at P200 and VIP going for P1, 200.
