SWINDLED!
Shaya has caught wind of a certain promoter in Gantsi who happens to also be in the business of swindling girls. His strategy: get them to fall in love, then, when they are head over heels and blinded by love, convince them to clear out their bank accounts as an ‘investment’ in his hustle.
Yours Truly has been reliably informed that in his latest scam, the Gantsi swindler lured an unsuspecting girl into a few months’ relationship with him, got her to clear out her savings for an event he was planning in Gantsi a month ago, then cancelled it a day before.
Shaya is told that he hasn’t been seen since.
Meanwhile, the girl is apparently distraught and drowning in debt and her own heartbreak tears.

ECOPLEXUS SCAM
After evangelizing so much on the gospel of Ecoplexus, which turned out to be the ultimate pyramid scheme BW has seen so far, Jujuvine is already off to the next thing, QZ Asset Management.
One would have thought that as a country, we’d have learnt by now that money making schemes done via whatsapp groups never pan out right.
The big question is of course Jujuvine’s stake in all this.

GOGO MAWENI RETURNS TO BW
South African herbalist and reality TV star Gogo Maweni has announced that she will be bringing her business to Botswana for the second time.
Dr Maweni last visited Botswana in August last year, and this time around Shaya has a feeling it might be because business has hit a low in SA.
Since her highly publicized beef with another Sangoma, Gogo Skhotheni, Maweni’s fame as SA’s baddest slay queen sangoma has dwindled.
Anyway, ladies, if you missed out on her services last time, no worries, your turn is almost here!
REMEMBERING ZIBO BANTSI
Friends and family took to social media on Tuesday to wish the late Zibo Bantsi who would have been 25 this year, a happy heavenly birthday.
The rising youtuber and girlfriend of Motswako artist Frost Legato was put in a medically induced coma after she suffered complications during a C-section in September 2020 but unfortunately never woke up, leaving Frost to raise their baby girl Azha.
It has been over two years since, and it doesn’t look like Frost will be getting into a relationship anytime soon.
He is definitely doing a great job raising Azha with the help of Zibo’s family.
Shaya sends love to the family during this painful week of remembrance.
