VOUCHING FOR TUMZA AND CO

Legendary ‘Thobane’ hit-maker Dr Vom has called on Vee Mampeezy to include two of Francistown’s biggest entertainers, Tumza and the duo of Madala and KellyJess, in his Last Man Standing show later this year.

Set for Saturday 4 November at the Game City Roof Top, Vee has already announced the likes of Sun El Musician, Vom and Chef Gustos in the line-up.

Regarded as the originator of the ‘Gorilla dance’, despite his obvious talent, Tumza remains one of the most underrated artists in the country. Very few can match his energy on stage.

Madala and his partner and fiancé, KellyJess, meanwhile, have created quite a name for themselves down the years. They are a big brand and would be a valuable addition to the show. Big up Dr Vom, Grooving in the Ghetto approves.

Ntate Stunna

O-TOWN’S BIG PARTY

The Cool Down Festival at Itekeng Stadium in Orapa this Saturday may go down as one of the biggest in the mining town’s long history.

Taking place after the annual OLDM General Manager’s Charity Walk, the diamond-studded line-up is enough to pull the biggest crowd anywhere in the country. To have Franco, ATI, Charma Gal and Culture Spears under one roof is insane. Now add the allure of Paige, Ntate Stunna, DJ Ngwazi, Han C, Ezra Neethings and Khoisan, and you surely have yourself a sold-out event. Forget cool down’s, this is more like red hot; what a way to welcome summer! Tickets are on sale for P200.
