Collections by BK Proctor will this Saturday host a fun day at Riverside Deck.

Suitably titled ‘Express Yourself’, revellers are encouraged to let their clothes do the talking at the event, which is scheduled to start at 12 midday and boasts an exciting line-up packed with the country’s leading celebrities.

Topping the list are the five MCs for the night: Mdu Tha Party, Kagiso De Klerk, Sadi, Natasha, and Miss Dee. The urbanesque roaster of performers includes: Han-C, Scar, Ban-T, Veezo View and Eugene Jackson.

To complete this star-studded assortment of entertainers are the DJs led by Gustos: Cue, Cheng, Bunz, K.U.D, Dreazy, Phat T, Skul and many other Francistown-based disc jockeys.

A standard ticket is P500, inclusive of a pair of BK Proctor branded socks.

MARANG CELEBRATES CULTURE

The lush green gardens of Cresta Marang will host a cultural extravaganza titled ‘Ja Monate Wa Ngwao’ this Saturday.

The event is dedicated to celebrating the country’s traditional heritage through traditional games, indigenous cuisine and enchanting musical performances.

Marang GM, Gwiso Lesenda told GiG the fest is an opportunity for Francistowners to come together and cherish the essence of what makes us proudly Botswana.

“This event serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving our traditions for future generations,” Lesenda said.

There’ll be performances by Lizibo, Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa and Tse Ditona Tsa Kalawa Cultural Group.

Entrance for this one is P300, and includes a slap-up African meal. Attire is strictly African.

FOOD FARM RETURNS

After a three-year hiatus following the outbreak of Covid-19, The Food Farm is back with it’s tasty offerings. The initiative will celebrate its seventh year anniversary in style, with two events in both Gaborone and Francistown on the 9th and 30th September respectively.

On Independence Day in Ghetto, Ms esS Kitchen will host local farmers and producers to display their offerings at Molapo Leisure Gardens. This family friendly event is a culinary haven for a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavours and cooking demonstrations that highlight the art of preparing dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
