GIS has shown tremendous growth since ADvTECH took over in 2015 and the upgrades are an investment in our amazing school, for both students, parents and stakeholders,” he said.

Hilton further highlighted the official ground breaking of projects and an estimated time of their completion.

“The developments started in March 2022 after receiving a go-ahead by the council.

The external road upgrade is set to be completed by end of August while the sports facility upgrade and the State of Art, Science and Technology Centre are set to finish by September and November respectively,” Hilton highlighted.

Quizzed about the significance of these projects,he said: “These new upgrade developments will not only enhance the teaching environment for our students but to prepare them for the fifth industrial revolution. Parents will be certain that GIS’s high academic standards are maintained and improved on.

Moreover, the acclaimed school also serves the local community through the external road upgrade which not only benefits the parents but the public at large, as the extensive upgrade will alleviate traffic congestion on the Kubu road.”
