PAIGE IN PALAPYE
Before making her debut at the Ghanzi Invasion show on Saturday where she will perform alongside Ntate Stunna, DJ Ngwazi, Vee and Franco, sexy South Africa songstress, Paige will stop off in Palapye for a Friday night gig at United Lounge.
Known for her explosive live performances as well as hits such as ‘Phakade’, ‘Kodwa Baba’, ‘Unjalo’, ‘Bambelela’ and ‘Ngilibeka Kuwe’, this marks a new chapter in Paige’s career – it will be her first appearance in Botswana since falling out with Sdala B, who she famously gelled so well with.
Helping the Amapiano star banish the winter blues in Ptown will be: Manecto, Fasso and De Mduze.
P50 gets you in before 10pm otherwise it’s P70 at the door.
MMP AT DEEPTOWN
The feel-good factor will be on in full force in Palapye on Friday night as, on the other side of town, MMP family bring their beautiful brand of music to the ‘Ugly Sweater Party’. With winter hitting hard, sweaters, ugly or not, are a must-have accessory for revellers braving the chilly nights so BW sees this one being a big success.
The Kwaito/Motswako group will join the likes of Damms, Deepnation, Moxido and Foxx for the show, to be held at Deep Town Exclusive Lounge.

BATTLE LINES DRAWN
Mezzos Café at the Fairgrounds will hold another Battle of the DJs show this Friday night. Hosted by Legendary DJ Obza and Angela Marumo, the spectacular show will also feature the likes of: Mis J, DJ Gumbo, Lapsoul and Destrobw.
On the same night, Masa Bar in Molepolole will host another skirmish, with DJ Gee, Lakes, Soul and Kronic all taking to the decks.
Good news for those looking for a good night on a tight budget: it won’t cost you a single Thebe to get in to either event.
