Leteisi on Fleek organisers are appealing to residents of Letlhakane, Orapa and the general Boteti area to take advantage of the extended early bird tickets special which end this Friday.

The event is billed for May 4th at Thwaza Vintage Garden in Letlhakane.

So far, Khoisan duo and Kabelo Tiro are the only artists announced, with a complete line-up expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

A general ticket for the event is P200 or P300 for two, while the golden circle is P400 for two or P230 single.

Tickets are available at Riverwalk – Webtickets kiosk and spar outlets across the country.

FITNESS BOOTCAMP

Modidima Farm in Foley will host its first fitness boot camp from 3rd-5th May.

The event will be facilitated by Vital Force Fitness Club.

Activities during the two days include a walk from the farm to Foley village.

Other activities include aerobics, tyre workouts, functional training, team building activities, aqua aerobics and health talks.

The farm offers camping facilities and lies less than 50m from the A1 Road.

Registration for the event is P350, which is inclusive of breakfast, lunch and refreshments.

GHETTO SPRING FEST

Ghetto Phat Sounds will be back with the fifth edition of the Ghetto Spring Festival, penciled for 21st September at Molapo Leisure Gardens.

This Independence Holiday celebration precursor will be headlined by the legendary chart-topping South African Afro-Pop group, Platform One.

They are known for their song, ‘Isencane’, which is popular in weddings, and other songs such as ‘Thuli’ and ‘Taste and Pass’.

The Soweto group, which has been off the radar for a while, has found a new lease of life in Botswana.

The event, which is also a family fun day, starts at 10 in the morning until the next day.
