DOC TAWANDA TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY WITH LESS PRIVILEGED
The Zimbabwean artist and DJ, Doc Tawanda will celebrate his 40th birthday with the less privileged from Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The Doc’s birthday bash will be held at Heavenly Gardens along Matshelagabedi road.
He has indicated that the initiative was inspired by he desire to share his blessings on his special day.
“To be able to execute this plan and give back to the communities, I will need assistance from good Samaritans, be it in cash or kind towards the celebration,” he said. Artists billed to perform on the day are Tarzolister, Mc Phusu, DJ Zecks and DJ Trizzy. P40 gets you in.”
TREKKERS BRINGS POPULAR SOUTHAFRICAN DJ
Uthando hitmaker and popular South African DJ Ngwazi, real name Lushen Kebatlege will this weekend grace Trekkers Night Club in Kasane.
Hosted by Kagiso Sento, the Sneaker Cruise After Party will set you back P80 to get in before midnight and P100 after.
Performances will be dished by Tay Boz alongside Dj Cody, DJ Soulman, Dj Discofonix and Dj Justin.
PANTSULAS TO INVADE PHIKWE
All roads lead to Selibe Phikwe on the 8th of July for the Botswana Pantsula Association Annual General Meeting, parade and festival.
In an interview with the Association, its spokesperson, Pass P Indicated that the day will begin with the new board members elections, followed by a parade and a festival in the night.
Some of the performing artists on the day will be Black Eye, Dhaloup, MC Pass P, Mc Bino and DJ Lonyatsabatho.
According to Pass P some of the funds raised will be donated to the less privileged.
EBAT CELEBRATES FATHERS DAY
Men of substance will be celebrated at Tatisiding village Ebat guest lodge on Saturday where a keynote address will be delivered by the Assistant Minister of Health, Sethomo Lelatisitwe.
The day will feature Reverend John Philip of Botswana Bible Training Institute and activities tailored towards honouring fathers will start at 9am.
