LESOLA PAYS TRIBUTE TO GONG MASTER
Traditional music artist, Silverster Lesola has released a moving tribute to his late mentor and friend, Mponang Ketshabile, better known as Gong Master.
Sure to pull at the heartstrings of the former soldier’s army of fans, ‘Robala Tau Ya Koma’, is a beautiful send-off for a star who rose to prominence as lead singer of ‘Dikakapa’, where his voice dominated hits such as ‘Dilo tsa Sesha’ and ‘Mahala’.
Other notable highs in Gong Master’s stellar career included collaborating with Ditiro Leero on ‘Makanyane’.
Produced and recorded by Bullet Ketshabile at his Bullet Music Production Studios, ‘Robala Tau Ya Koma’ will surely have Gong Master nodding his head in approval from his front row seat in heaven!
MURUMBA PITCH IN TOWN
South African Amapiano group, Murumba Pitch will cross the border this weekend for a two-day tour of the country, performing exclusively at United Lounge.
Known for hits such as, ‘Wena Dali’, ‘Deep Kinda Loving’, ‘Esangweni’ and the latest chart topper ‘Hamba Juba’, the pair start off at United Lounge in Gaborone on Friday night, where they will be joined by DJ Ice, DJ Tman, Hapex Guru and KRM.
On Saturday, the dynamic duo then take their popular brand of music to Palapye, with United Lounge once again the venue.
This time, their support acts include: Modric, Flexido, Chizboy and Subb Sebastian.
Tickets for both shows are going for P50 before midnight and P70 after.
BASH CONNECTOR’S MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH
Sticking to its motto of linking people, experiences and brands, this Saturday Bash Connector presents ‘Tatso Connekt Mother’s Day Brunch’.
The event, which comes a week after Mother’s Day, will be held at Sky View Lounge, with admission priced at P1, 000 per person.
Running from 1100 until 1500hrs, a ticket to the up-market gig comes with a bottle of Graham Beck MCC and brunch among other benefits.
