DINKGWANA HOST A RE ITSANENG
Dinkgwana Chillas Pub and Grill in Diponchi ward in Mochudi, will host the inaugural annual cultural exchange event dubbed ‘A Re Itsaneng Ma Africa,’ on the 6th of May 2023.
Organised by Joy Setshedi, the event will be held under the theme ‘Connecting Africa into one Family.’
A re itsaneng ma-Africa aims to showcase the culture of various tribes across Africa. Each tribal grouping will have a representative to showcase the unique type of traditional dance or dances, storytelling, crafts as well as traditional apparel.
The tickets are sold for P50 for kids, P100 single, P150 double and P300 at Spar (web tickets) and online.
The event patron is Mohumagadi Mme Mmamatshego and the Mcs are Berry Heart and former Miss Botswana,Palesa Molefe.
THE RETURN OF DJ BOZA
After relocating to Plateau five years ago, DJ Boza will this Saturday invade Queens Bar in Oodi.
This is where he started his career as the resident DJ before relocating. DJ Boza has promised good vibes and music and entrance is free.
BEER FEST
South African DJ Tira alongside other local artists are expected to perform at the much anticipated second edition of a Beer Festival at Serowe Stadium this Saturday.
The “Queen of Pranks” saga Marothi is set to spice up the lineup. Local artists include Franco, Charma Gal, Mlesho, Dr Vom, Vee Mampeezy and DJ Chef Gustos, DJ Chrispin De Drummer and many more.
