TARZ B’S TASTY TRACK

A Home Economics Teacher at Lotsane Senior School Tarz B, has dropped a tasty new track titled ‘Thobola’.

Released last week, the song features Kalahari, was produced by DJ Phatu and recorded by Jazzman at his studios in South Africa.

No stranger to rubbing shoulders with the stars, having previously worked with Charma Gal on the hit ‘Masa’ and ATI on the ‘Sponono’ jam, the educator is taking his music to new levels.

“Thobola” simply means take off your shirt, inspired by the summertime groove, where we expect everyone to be dancing, sweating and taking off their shirts,” explains Tarz B.

The lively, fun-time summer single has been well received by music lovers across the country and has set the mood for the fast-approaching festive season.

CELEBRATING A LEGEND

Legendary Kwasa Kwasa muso, Jeff Matheatau will be celebrated in concert style by some of the best local musicians on 28th October.

The veteran singer, who’s amongst the local pioneers of the genre, will share the stage with a legion of other legends, including: Alfredo Mos, Clement Magwaza from Zimbabwe, Oscar Chakabuya, Slizer, Fresh Lesokwane, Tumza, Madala vs KellyJess and many others.

Dubbed ‘Celebrating our Legend’ the music festival will be held at the Old Francistown stadium, with tickets selling for P100 singles, P120 for two and P500 VIP.

UMUNTU WOMUNTU DROPS

Busy like a bee, hard-working rapper, Que Rap has released his third single in six month.

Titled ‘Umuntu womuntu’, simply meaning ‘she/he’s taken, Que Rap once again shows his versatility in this latest number, in which he mixes Zulu, English and Tswana.
