DEJAVU BASEMENT FOR AMAPIANO FUN
Dejavu Basement is set for a never-before-seen explosion of Amapiano greatness this Monday as star trio: Focalistic, Kamo Mphela and Daliwonga bring their South African fire to warm up the CBD joint.
The much-anticipated gig will have the masses bouncing away to hits such as ‘Tsela Tse Nyane’ and ‘Khekheleza’ from Focalistic, ‘Nkulunkulu’ and ‘Thula Thula’ from Kamo Mphela while Daliwonga will heat up the dance floor with ‘Abomvelo’ and ‘10 kilometres’.
Joining these sensational headliners will be a lineup of talented local acts, including: Tumie, Black Ace, FrostBite, Deelow, Shimboy, Khebah, and the ever-energetic Casper The DJ among others.
Admission is P150 for general while VIP will be strictly by invitation or order any bottle of whiskey or Vodka to be allowed in.
KARIM SWITCHES GEARS
Okavango-based Kwasa Kwasa star, Karim, has switched gears from his trademark genre, stretching his vocals to Amapiano/Afro Pop.
In his latest release ‘Okavango’, Karim features Koolkat Motyiko of ‘Seronga’ fame and Russ Décor.
The hit, which will be new style of music to the area, is produced by DA Phony and mastered by Carlos Ditsheko and talks about the beautiful serenity of the Okavango District.
CHARITY FUN AT MESC GROUNDS
While many are gearing-up for fun, fun, fun over the long holidays, Anderson Mathibe Charity Organisation will be hard at work on their 1st Annual Metsimotlhabe July Football Tournament.
The tournament, to be hosted at MESC grounds with an objective of fighting Gender Based Violence through sports, starts on Saturday and will feature: Vuyo Dabula of Generations, Ditiro Leero and DJ T4NG.
Held under the theme ‘#BorreTsayangKgatoEmisangKgokgontsho’, entrance for the massive three-day spectacle is absolutely free, with gates opening at 0800.
SOCCER MUSIC SPEKTHEKHULA
Local music heavyweights, Franco, Vee, Slizer and Apollo Diablo will headline the Soccer Music Spekthekhula slatted for Sunday at the VTM Arena.
Adding to the non-stop entertainment will be: Zulas, Twin Brothers, Mado Madombi, Chokoma, Mzala and Mavivo.
The 36-hour extravaganza will also see 20 social clubs in action, with heavy-hitters such as Jikisa, Queens Bar, Mmanoko Real Fathers, Matswakabele SC and Peace Lovers all confirming their presence for what should be a feast of Sunday soccer.
