All roads led to the city of Francistown for the much-awaited ‘As One’ music concert last weekend and Voice Entertainment joined the multitudes that thronged the Obed Itani Chilume stadium to witness what one of Botswana’s great talents had to offer.

In true ATI style, the 32-year-old rapper rocked up on stage just a little after midnight and true to form he made an extraordinary entrance and lived up to the hype.

Spotting his black tear drop trademark and clad in a purple suit, ATI, born Atlasaone Molemogi descended mid-air to the soaring cheers from a crowd that was going wild with excitement already.

He sent revellers into a frenzy with some shedding tears of joy while at least three people fainted during his performance.

EMOTIONAL: Lekhete’s fan burst in tears seeing him perform

Belting out his hit songs from back in the day to present, ATI showed up and claimed his number one spot in local showbiz.

Often catching moments between performance to thank his fans for demanding the One Man show, ATI too was visibly clouded with emotion as revellers sang word for word to his lyrics.

There has since been calls for an ‘As one’ concert in the capital of Gaborone and/or Serowe.

It remains to be seen if ATI will heed the call or will call it quits as as he had hinted.

In a brief interview on Tuesday, ATI said, “I am humbled by the support I received right from the beginning until the night of the show. I cannot thank ATI fans enough for the experience.”
