ExpressCredit customer wins lucrative home makeover
ExpressCredit gave a lucky customer 200, 000 reasons to smile as its ‘Ee Ke Nnte’ initiative came to a triumphant end on Saturday.
The big winner, Salalenna Makgolothwe will now be able to transform her home completely after walking away with the competition’s grand prize, a home makeover voucher worth a jaw-dropping P200, 000.
ExpressCredit, one of the country’s leading micro-financers, ran the initiative from 10 October to 20 November.
Every loan applicant in that time was automatically entered into the competition and stood a chance to win numerous rewards, including a trolley dash at Builders Mart worth P5, 000.
Through the course of the comp, ExpressCredit held five such trolley dashes in different locations up-and-down the country.
The give-away covered Francistown, Palapye, Ghanzi, Maun and Gaborone, where the grand finale was held.
For the trolley dash, two finalists were chosen to go head-to-head, with the winner earning the full P5, 000 while the runner-up received a P500 consolation dash.
The star prize, which marked the competition’s exciting climax, went to Makgolothwe. Beaming with delight and hardly daring to belief her fortune, Makgolothwe revealed she had applied for a P7, 000 loan at the Gaborone Station branch.
Lady luck did indeed smile down on the young lady, as the automated system picked her name ahead of over 800 other entries into the grand finale.
