Keen to rock this particular boat, rockers Raven In Flesh have put together a first-of-its-kind Halloween-inspired show: the ‘Spooktacular Halloween Carnival’.

Set for Saturday night at #Social at Masa Centre in CBD, patrons are encouraged to dress for the occasion, with the spookiest costumes earning free cocktails.

Known for ballads such as ‘If Only Dreams Were True’, ‘Time’, ‘Sweetest Day’, ‘Black Eyes’ and ‘Velvet House’, Raven In Flesh are sure to put on a performance that will light up the night. Best of all, entrance is free!

DT’S ONE MAN SHOW

In keeping with the times, one of the pioneers of Traditional music, Ditiro ‘DT’ Leero will host his own ‘One Man Show’ at Zone 4 Farm in Selokolela on Saturday.

Don’t be deceived by the title, however, as the legendary crooner will be joined on stage by a whole host of artists, sharing the mic with the likes of: Captain Dira, Dr Vom, MmaAusi, Gape Bame, Machesa, Makwakwa, Kgokgonono, Matsieng, Dikakapa, Ramonyaku and Tawana Ya Koma among others.

DITIRO LEERO

The decks will be taken care of by: DJ Peekay, Bopgiie and Roy while MC duty is to be split five-ways, as Lets Montsosa, Mokapi, Nani, Kario and Cathy Malejane do their thing.

As well as the music, revelers will also get to indulge in traditional food, drinks and games.

Tickets for this one are going at: P100 Standard, P180 Double and P1, 000 VIP, which gets you a DT CD of your choice, food and merchandise.

A 5TH LIFE-CHANGING MOMENT

If Gospel is your thing, then all roads lead to the UB Indoor Sports Arena on Saturday night for the return of the extravaganza that is ‘The Life Changing Concert’.

Turning a fantastic five, the annual festival, held at the end of every October, gives local artists a platform to rub shoulders with South African Gospel greats, Joyous Celebration, led by Lindelani Mkhize.

Forming part of this year’s line-up are exciting young talents: Nouet and Ezra Neethings.
