Two key witnesses in the suspected murder of Kagiso Phang Lesetedi, 61, appeared for mention before Molepolole Magistrate Court this morning.
The two women, Rosinah Banoge and Gaokgakala Tlotleng, are suspected to have connived to poison the former Smart Funeral Homes driver on 22nd January in Molepolole.
Both suspects were the deceased’s love interest.
Lesetedi was laid to rest on 29th January.
The suspects’ attempt at bail was shot down by Public Prosecutor Sergeant Koketso Motshoganetsi who informed the court that the Investigating Officer was currently on leave and could not address matters pertaining to theirbbail application.
He further informed the court that they are yet to receive the forensic laboratory report.
The matter has been postponed to 12th March.
