Traditional music gurus, Maghebula and Silvesta have teamed up with Dr. Tawanda on an interesting new tune called ‘Motho Ga a Tshephiwe’.
Released last week Wednesday, the song opens up with Maghebula, who brings his unique style that has set him apart in the Traditional scene. Silvesta then adds his own special poetic touch, although unlike in most of his past material, he opts for Setswana over English.
The duo blend well together, topped off by the excellent Dr. Tawanda’s instrumentals.
Although it seems a sure-fire recipe success and is well worth a listen, the song doesn’t quite reach the heights one might expect from a collaboration between three greats.
