Police are on the hunt for a gang of suspects who allegedly murdered a 34-year-old man at Gaborone’s Extension 4 and escaped in a black Honda Fit yesterday.

Central police Station commander, Mothusi Phadi, confirmed that they received the report from an eye witness who told them that the victim was brutally attacked by a gang of men who immediately fled in the get-away car.

“The incident took place in Extension 4, near Tebelopele clinic, but he was later found unconscious in White City. According to the witness the gang attacked the deceased with hard objects and left him for dead,”  Phadi said.

The police have appealed to members of the public to assist with any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.

“The victim was found unconscious in White City and was rushed to Princess Marina Hospital. He unfortunately died early this morning,” the police confirmed.
