It took me a couple of weeks to listen to ‘Matters of Concern’ and when I finally got round to it I must admit I wasn’t impressed!
However, I gave the song another go this Monday and it slowly grew on me.
Clint’s easy raps, although on monotone, had me bobbing my head without even realising.
It’s actually the message in the song that got my attention.
The Monarch-based rapper touches on the world’s epidemics, including the unavoidable Coronavirus.
It’s an easy song to follow, with no metaphors and punchlines, but still packs a punch with a weighty message.
