AFRICAN ATTIRE ON FLEEK
The second annual African Attire on Fleek returns to bring a bit of colour, culture and flair to Molapo Leisure Gardens this Saturday.
The first edition was a massive success, attracting a bumper crowd and expectations are high for another stellar event.
Revellers are encouraged to dress to impress in their traditional African garb.
South African Afro Pop duo, the Qwabe Twins of ‘Hamba’ fame and Ntando will be the main acts.
They’ll share the stage with Botswana’s best in Lizibo, Kabelo Tiro Khoisan, Dr Vom, Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa, Awilo and Bangu Shagwa.
A host of DJs will also be on hand to entertain revelers.
Tickets are available online P500 (double) and P300 (single) for the golden circle, while a general ticket is P300 for two or P220 single.
TAMASANE ANNUAL FEST
A serious turn-up is expected at the small village of Tamasane in Bobirwa as natives celebrate Christmas Day to the sounds of some of the best local acts.
The annual Tamasane Festival has a star studded line-up for all age groups.
The likes of Dr Vom, Slizer, Jeff Matheatau, MC Maswe, Ba Ntogwa, Moshweshwe and the Tamasane native Madala alongside his fiancé Kellyjess.
Tickets are available on Webtickets for P80, P150, and P100 for early bird, double and standard respectively.
DVJ DREAZY BIRTHDAY GROOVE
One of the Francistown’s legendary Disc Jockeys, DVJ Dreazy will be celebrating his birthday this week.
The smooth operator known for his explosive hip-hop and RnB sets will celebrate in style at Lizard Lounge this Friday.
The DVJ Dreazy Birthday Groove will feature Shimrock, Cheng, Missy, Lex, Phat Tee, Cue Deck, Almac De Drummer, Nexus and Howard.
This outdoor breeze session has a military green theme and P30 will allow you to watch Ghetto’s finest tearing up the decks.
