Sello Malete announced as first international act
South African gospel heavyweight, Sello Malete and Botswana’s Ezra Neethings are marked as the first two supporting acts for Teboho Moloi’s Botswana Invasion concert scheduled for August 26th at Game City rooftop Parkade.
According to Moloi, the organising team has resolved to bring South African gospel artists who have never been to Botswana. “I now leave it to Batswana to suggest more artists on my social media platform for this supercharged concert,” said Moloi. Sechaba Pali and Lebo Sekgobela are currently leading the list of requested artists.
When questioned on the event lineup during the press briefing that was held at Regent Hotels on June 1st, one of the event organizers, David Abraham informed the media that the team is yet to scout talent both locally and internationally to build a line up.
“We have our eyes set on a few artists locally and internationally, but once we’ve signed contracts, we will reveal their names,” he said.
This will be Teboho Moloi’s first ever concert in Botswana. Abraham further revealed that should it be successful, Teboho Moloi’s Botswana Invasion will become an annual event.
Meanwhile the award winning South African gospel sensation promised to deliver an exhilarating show for his Botswana debut to give his fans long lasting memories, a reason to come back for the 2nd edition and to especially bring them closer to God through song.
The event is a collaboration between Pronounced Partners and TA Music Productions.
Tickets to the show are available at Webtickets and Spar Outlets countrywide with prices ranging from P150 to P1000.
