On Independence Day, Tonota residents woke up to the shocking news of a man who was found dead at Manyanda ward cemetery.
The unemployed, 25-year-old Madisakwane ward resident was found hanging from a tree around 0630 hours.
Tonota Police Station Commander, Superintendent Oteng Ngada confirmed the incident.
He told the Voice online that their preliminary investigations shows the deceased had a misunderstanding with his girlfriend before he took his own life.
He added that the deceased used a rope to end his life and did not leave any note.
Meanwhile the Tonota police boss said they’ve recorded two murder cases and two suicides during the long Independence weekend.
