VEE BACK WITH COMING SOON
Shaya is delighted to see Kwaito/Kwasa King, Vee back together with his flexible and entertaining dancer, Coming Soon. Vee’s live performances have never quite been the same without the energetic DRC-born mover-and-shaker doing his thing in the background.
Reuniting with ‘Coming Soon’ will surely bring back the old memories.
Already their videos doing some dance challenges are trending big time on social media; Shaya sees some fire coming soon!
DITCH THE D***HEAD
Shaya went out for a few well-earned drinks at one of the local establishments in CBD over the holidays.
Everyone was having a good time until a well-known businessman killed the mood by beating his girlfriend in front of the entire club.
The poor girl was seemingly trying to tame the heavily intoxicated gent when he slapped her.
Even as security pulled the drunken dude away from his girl, who seemed way too young to even be in that place, he continued hurling degrading insults at her leaving everyone shocked.
Not even the boys in blue could get him to stop as he casually walked away with them, as if they were his bodyguards.
Shaya hopes that girl was smart enough to open an assault case and most importantly, ditch the d***head.
It’s a shame how many of our sisters put up with abuse until it’s too late.
BUNNY BOUNCING WITH LOVE
It seems Cupid is aiming his arrow of love at our local DJs!
Two weeks back, Shaya was congratulating La Timmy for his new found romance; now it seems DJ Bunny has also caught the love bug big time!
Bunny is often categorized as one of the industry’s ‘bad boys’ but by the look of things, he might actually be settling down this time!
His pretty young thing is also working overtime to show the world who the woman of the house is.
Congratulations Bunny, Shaya is bouncing with joy for you and wishes you the very best.
UNDERHAND TACTICS
Shaya is fed-up with local promoters and the way they squeeze people out of their hard-earned Pulas through misleading advertising.
Over the weekend, Yours Truly joined the masses at Francistown’s famous Lizard Lounge for an electric set by South African Amapiano giants, Murumba Pitch.
The show had been billed as P50 before 11pm and then P70 after – prices which everyone agreed were an absolute bargain!
However, late comers received a shock to the pocket when they got to the front door only to learn entrance would now cost them P150.
Their complaints fell on deaf ears; it was either fork out the P150 or miss out on seeing one of the biggest Amapiano acts in the region.
It’s a crying shame because it detracted from what was otherwise an excellent night!
