Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) Tshepo Bathai says they are saddened by the passing of their national team athlete, Phillipe Revaka.
Bathai told Voice Sport this week that Revaka passed on Sunday. “The devastating news were broken to us on Sunday evening, and we were really shocked to hear this,” he said.
Revaka who was only 21 at the time of his death represented the country at 2017 Senior and Junior UFAK Championships that were held in Cameroon, Yaounde and he helped the team scoop a gold medal under team Kata category.
The BOKA President would however, not be drawn into discussing the suicide allegations surrounding Revaka’s untimely death.
