YAMAS LOSE IT WITH OLD TRACK
Shaya has gone through all the songs and artists who got nomination at the Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAS) and shockingly DJ Ngwazi’s hit, Uthando, which was released in 2021 has been included.
The song may have been a hit but does not deserve a nomination in 2023 because its now old.
It does not make sense at all to be resurrecting songs when there are many new hits released in the past year.
Shaya thought that awards nominate songs which were released within a year, but DJ Ngwazi must be over the moon over that error.
Anyway, Good luck to him but can we please get fresh songs next time.
TO THE STREETS SHE RETURNED
DJ Bunny was apparently spotted drinking his sorrows away over the weekend after his glittery relationship apparently ended in tears.
Shaya feels a little bad for rooting for the couple and ignoring naysayers who were convinced that she was for the streets!
In Shaya’s defence, it doesn’t hurt to hope for the best in people.
To the streets she has returned, and the poor bunny is a droopy bunny.
At least he’s killing it music wise, and he’s poured the few remaining pieces of his broken heart into his new food joint.
Speaking of that, Shaya has noticed that Nazneen has also started a food joint in Francistown, I hope we won’t have another Mmammidi situation with one party crying that the food business idea was theirs.
SHOCKING EXPRESSIONS
Botswana’s most admired brand hosted a fun day to celebrate five years of existence and the cool kids did not only bring their swag on, but demonstrated what it means to honour the theme!
Oh what a refresher it was to see SCAR turning it up after playing tug of war over his woman!
Enough said about him though, hope to see Ms Abbey #expressingherself on the Podicast soon.
Congratulations to BK Proctor on the 5 year milestone, here’s to much more creativity attached to jaw dropping prices!
