Pomegranate to host Clifton Golf Day

The annual Clifton School and Bryte Golf Day returns to the second city for a 5th time on Friday 31st March and 1st April at Pomegranate Golf Estate.

According to the school’s Marketing Manager, Olivia Price, they expect at least 100 golfers from across the country to turn up for the revamped event.

“This is the biggest Golf Day in Francistown. We decided to expand it over two days to accommodate all golfers after we experienced logistical issues of hosting 86 golfers last year,” explained Price, adding all the nine holes will be sponsored by different companies.

“The main sponsor is once again Bryte Botswana, who’ll also be sponsoring an all ladies team,” she said.

Price told Voice Sport that the two-day event will be punctuated by fun activities such as ‘spin and win’, with a lot of giveaways from participating corporate entities up for grabs.

“It’ll be like a mini-expo with both small and big corporates showcasing their products. Entry fee per golfer is P300, and all the players will receive a Bryte goodie bag at registration,” she said.

Golfers and spectators are encouraged to bring their business cards and stand a chance to win great prizes.
