PISSED OFF: Motswakwa

Man upset with lover for peeing next to his car

Furious at his girlfriend for peeing next to his beloved car, a 31-year-old man is said to have hurled a stream of abuse at his lover, his potty-mouth tirade allegedly ending with a deadly threat.

31-year-old Thatayaone Pako Motswakwa appeared before Molepolole Magistrates Court last week charged with threat-to-kill after his girlfriend reported him to the cops.

On the morning of Wednesday 30 June, the Moshaweng native allegedly uttered the following statement to his 29-year-old lover, Gaone Tlholeane:

“O boatla, ke sale ke go kgalemelela gore o seka wa nkarabisa, selo se mmagwe nny**, ke tla go bolaya, you are dirty I have long rebuked you to stop arguing with me you fool, your mother’s vagina, I will kill you!”

With investigations into the matter on-going and the police yet to record witness statements, Motswakwa was remanded in custody.

Speaking to police officers outside court as he waited to be transported to jail, the suspect could be overheard complaining about his girlfriend.

He maintained the allegations against him were cooked up by Tlholeane after he rebuked her for stealing.

“We stay together. She has a tendency of bringing stolen things to our home; recently she came with goat meat from her place and I asked her whose goat was killed. Since she noticed I realised she was stealing things and I might alert the police she is now accusing me,” insisted the visibly agitated Motswakwa.

The accused also claimed his partner often comes home extremely drunk and on the day in question, she woke up in the morning and urinated near his car.

Although Motswakwa admitted raising the matter with Tlholeane, he is adamant he did not threaten her.

“I just advised her that it was not a good thing and did not utter any word of threat. She was the one who got annoyed and I just ignored it. I think it’s better she moves back to her place, it shows she no longer loves me,’ he concluded as he was escorted to the police vehicle taking him to prison.
