NEW HOME: Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Botswana

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Botswana has left its popular Block 7 premises following a relocation of its campus to the Plaza Building in Extension 6,Gaborone.

When they opened doors to the Botswana market in 2007,Limkokwing’s first campus was at Fairgrounds Mall but later moved to Block 7 for bigger premises as the school’s success soared high and attracted record number of students.

According to a statement from the university, the relocation is in line with Limkokwing ‘s strategy in refining its mission and vision that has been part of its DNA since 1991 which is to be an industry led university.

“The university continues to consider our greatest achievement in creating a global network of alumni who are empowered with the requisite industry skills and knowledge to be able to play a role in effecting social and economic transformation in the world,” reads the statement.

In embracing the university philosophy which is innovation, creativity and industry relevance, the institution is now set to empower students with 21st century set skills in its brand new campus where skills training in line with the fast emerging creative industries will be offered.

“The new location will provide easy access to students and working professionals in up skilling their professional qualifications,”

Well-known for its world wide recognition on innovation and creativity ,Limkokwing is an international university with a footprint across three continents (Africa, Europe and Asia) with over 30,000 students over its 12 campuses in Botswana, China, Cambodia, Indonesia Lesotho, Eswatini, Malaysia and United Kingdom.
