Consultancy firm looks back with pride
Local consultancy firm, I-Six Logistics, which offers consultancy and training services, celebrated 10 years of existence this week.
The company offers services in strategic management, organisational development and research, and monitoring and evaluation.
Delivering the keynote speech at a small celebration to mark the special anniversary on Monday, Gaborone Central Member of Parliament (MP), Tumisang Healy said more businesses should be established to increase employment opportunities for the youth, exactly as I-Six Logistics did.
“We also need to create more businesses to diversify the economy and propel it from the current upper-middle-income to high-income status,” said Healy, speaking on behalf of the Assistant Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry.
Healy commended I-Six Logistics for surviving the hurdles to reach such a milestone.
He noted the firm provides key services through various disciplines and supports practical use of knowledge through mentorship programmes.
Healy said the 10th anniversary of I-Six Logistics is a testimony to a sustainable business model.
I-Six Logistics Managing Director, Tlhaloganyo Kaisara said through the commemoration theme, ‘Growing together – Giving back to the community, the company is inspired to give back to the community.
“I am very happy that we have walked this journey for 10 years and we consider these years successful,” declared Kaisara, adding that the organisation’s achievements over the past decade are a source of great pride to all at I-Six Logistics.
“We also believe it has made the desired change in the lives and business of others,” he said, noting there were years when the future appeared bleak, but they did not give up.
