Gaborone based Sunday soccer club, Leng Kapa Leng has donated 110 masks (buffs) to Revelation Blessed Peace church, St John Apostolic Faith Mission of Botswana and Tobane tribal leaders.

The team agreed to assist as part of their corporate social responsibility.
“Contrary to popular belief, as Sunday soccer clubs we do not only play soccer and consume alcohol. We are a group of responsible men and women who assist each other as well as communities that we come from,” said Kolagano.
He also pointed out that the church plays a pivotal role in the psycho – social and spiritual upliftment of human beings and that is why Leng Kapa Leng found it fitting to assist them as they continue to provide counsel in the era of covid-19.
Kolagano thanked Leng Kapa Leng, Nico Mosweu, Reliable Holdings (a Micro lending company) owned by the former manager John Kgaje, and WUSA clothing & Sportswear, which made the masks.
In his welcome remarks, the village chief, Kgosi Nametsego Motlhasedi expressed sincere gratitude and thanked the team for remembering them and traveling all the way from Gaborone to give them love in the difficult time of covid-19.
Giving a vote of thanks, the area councilor, Nehemiah Mosweunyana thanked Leng Kapa Leng for the donations. He impressed upon the team members to look for companies, which can adopt the two primary schools in the village.
The councilor highlighted that Tobane is a beautiful village with beautiful heritage sites with a potential to become a popular tourist destination.
