In the latest tragedy to strike Molepolole, a young mum is suspected to have taken her own life on Saturday morning.
The 27-year-old woman was found hanging from a tree in Ratotoboro ward by her older brother, 38.
Before she died, she reportedly sent a text message to her sister, asking the sibling to look after her children and then giving directions to where she could be found.
Confirming the sad incident, Molepolole Assistant Superintendent, Motshwari Mokamogo revealed they received the report at around 11:15hrs from the dead woman’s brother.
“He received a phone call from his younger sister that the other sister had sent a message and gave directions to a place where she could be found,” explained ASP Mokamogo, adding it does not appear the deceased left a suicide note.
Although the brother rushed to the scene, sadly it was already too late.
Her corpse remains at Scottish Livingstone Hospital awaiting postmortem examination.
