WATCH: The Court of Appeal has freed a fisherman from Kaucwi village, Morerwa Mbasera, after he spent four years and four months in prison for a crime he did not commit.
The trial courts had believed one of the accused persons’ statement implicating Mbasera, even though there was no other evidence linking him to the crime of possession of elephant tusks.
