Zoom Club murder suspect kills again
ACCUSED: Mphoyaone Sedio

• Bail revoked

One of the accused persons in the murder of a businessman at Zoom nightclub back in 2016 has allegedly murdered again.

This was revealed when the suspect, Mphoyaone Sedio appeared in court this week.

Sedio who is the fifth accused in the ‘zoom night club’murder told the court that he has become a suspect in another fresh murder case.

He however explained that he killed the man in self-defence and took him to the hospital where he was certified dead.

“ It was not my fault. The deceased had chased me down the street accusing me of stealing from him. I really tried to run away from him when he was chasing me down with a screw driver,” Sedio said in court.

He further explained that during the chase he reported the matter to policemen on patrol that failed to assist him and left him with no choice but to defend himself.

“After the police left, a fight ensued and I accidentally killed the man and took his body to princess Marina Hospital.

“I did not kill him on purpose,” he said.

The unimpressed Magistrate however reminded Sedio that he was specifically ordered not to be a suspect in any other offence pending the zoom nightclub murder case of one Jacob Bogatsu when he was granted bail.

The particulars of the charge are that Sedio on or about October 30, 2016 at or near Maruapula Caltex Filling Station stole a black Samsung Duos cellphone valued at P1, 500 belonging to Bogatsu using violence and eventually murdered him.

The man ran to the filling station covered in blood, collapsed and died by the entrance.
