Zebras players to mingle with fans in Francistown
Botswana Football Association has given Glamour Sports the green light to carry out activations on behalf of the association for the Zebras upcoming Africa Cup of Nations second leg qualifier against Comoros.
A company owned by businessman and sports administrator Comfort Ramatebele, Glamour Sports International will take Francistown by storm on Thursday morning at Gallo from 10 am until 2pm. “We will be giving out tickets for the Sunday match,” said Ramatebele.
Match activations will continue on Good Friday at Nswazi mall where players will have photoshoot sessions with supporters. “30 tickets are up for grabs to lucky fans and we’ll also be giving away All Kasi paraphernalia,” said Ramatebele.
Ramatebele, who is also an accredited FIFA Agent said they have engaged Francistown based businesses to help drum up support for the match, which could see the national team take another positive step to qualify for second AFCON finals.
“Glamour Sports has engaged strictly Ghetto businesses for services such as DJs, MC and others needed to make the activation a success,” he said.
Zebras are in Group D with Uganda, Burkina Faso and Comoros. The local lads are currently on position three, tied on three points with Burkina Faso who have a better goal difference.
Tickets for the Francistown match sell for P80 (grand stand). P50 (Eastern stand) and P30 (behind the goal posts).
