NOT DO OR DIE
On Sunday after church we have a date with Gaborone United.
They nearly beat us in the first round which makes this match even more interesting. It is not a do or die as most people think; even if we lose we’ll still be on top. Actually if we lose it will make us even more dangerous, we hate rude wake up calls. That will mean pulling up our socks and winning the league more easily, trust me.
I’ve heard from my friends that bottom of the log FC Satmos gave us a real scare.
The sad thing for them though is that they didn’t win the game despite taking the lead twice. To score three against Chiefs should however be a motivating factor.
I also heard they were not happy with the fact that we changed kits in the second half, but the referee okayed it and if Satmos want a replay we will give them 10!
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
Fellow Chiefs striker Mara Moloi is on course to reach my 22 mark as I am still out.
I encourage him to score as many as he can. He was angry with himself that he missed a lot of chances in
Phikwe but I told him that it is the name of the game.
Having been called to the Zebras will also motivate him; it shows him that he is among the best, so it is up to him to catch me if he can.
ZEBRAS IN CAMP
I have seen the list of the players in camp.
I have nothing to say about the list; is most questions about what the plan is can be answered by the coach. I also want to encourage all those picked to keep working hard because this shows they are being watched.
This shows they are doing something worth a place in the country’s national side.
