Tebby Setlhomo will launch her new single meant to raise awareness for blood shortage in the country on the 28th of April at Ave Maria.
The single, titled, ‘Donate Blood save a life’, will be given to the public for free. In an interview with Big Weekend, Tebby said she came up with the concept after realising there is shortage of blood in health facilities.
“As a musician with a large following I found it fit to use my talent to help the Ministry of Health and Wellness in its efforts to appeal with the public to donate blood. If we all do that as a nation many lives will be saved,” she explained.
After the launch, the gospel artist, who calls herself ‘Woman of God’, will embark on a tour of all Churches in Gaborone to spread the message whilst simultaneously distributing the single.
The four-minute song was recorded at Nice Touch Studio.
