HIGH FIVE: Rollers players in a celebratory mood

Township Rollers will now face Tanzanian side, Young Africans Sports Club, in the next round after their 4-2 aggregate win against Al Merreikh from Sudan.

The Gaborone giants won the first leg 3-0 in Gaborone and lost the second leg 2-1 away to Al Merreikh this evening.

A goal from veteran winger, Joel Mogorosi, in the first half calmed the nerves of the visitors and set up a thrilling encounter as the hosts fought to overhaul a four goal margin.

Popularly known as Yanga, the Tanzania club is one of the biggest in the country, based in the capital Dar es Salaam.

Founded in 1935, the 27 times Premier League Champions are the most successful club in Tanzania.

The club progressed to this year’s CAF Champions League second round after eliminating St.Louis Suns United of Seychelles.
