We (Mochudi Centre Chiefs) are back on top after a week on the second spot. Our win against Nico united and a Friday draw for Gaborone United against BMC took us back to the top of the table.

Last week we had a chat on one of the social networks (bbm) as the Zebras current players and former players.

We were just reminiscing from our old times in the team with a lot of guys from the old team including,Paja “triby” Butale, Masego “Ntsikolo” Ntshingane, Khumo “rragweOlorato” Motlhabane, Dipsy “Blanco” Selolwane, Mogogi “Mandlebe”Gabonamong, Tshepo “Raditonki” Motlhabankwe, Joel “AmantleMontsho” Mogorosi, Dirang “Malam” Moloi and myself.

It was such a great conversation, I really enjoyed it, let’s keep up the spirit of chatting.

It is with a sad face and a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing on of one of Botswana football legends and Gaborone United legends Marco Tshuma.

I personally knew him as he played for the team I supported and was close to my father Patrick Zibochwa. He died from spinal complications that occurred when he was operated. My condolences to his family.

Newly interim manager at Chelsea FC Rafael Benitez is an unwanted man by the “blues” faithful. Reasons being that rivalry between Chelsea and Liverpool which he managed for five yrs and the attacks he used to vent against Chelsea when he sat on Liverpool are still very vivid in their minds.

On Sunday when they were playing against Manchester City, one banner read, “In Roberto we trusted and will always trust but in Rafa will never”.

And in the 16th minute the stadium erupted with applause to their former jersey number 16 and former manager Roberto Di Matteo,  the only man who brought them what eluded them in a decade, the European champion’s league.

Our young lads jetted off today to Algeria for their last encounter against their counterparts, seeking to book a place in the final championships. They played to a 1 all draw here at home two weeks ago.
They left with a full squad and really full of confidence to get positive result. All the best

Congratulations mate on your move to the army football side. I know it’s been a tough time for you without playing football for this long and not having a place where you belong.

Finally it’s over and you can only do what you know best on the football pitch. Keyone monna “Bingu”

Last season Mogoditshane Fighters beat us 1 nil at the UB stadium.

This Sunday we are coming up against them at the SSKB stadium.

Gentlemen, without a blink of an eye its payback time, no two ways about it, we are coming for you.

I even told my friend/brother Ishmael Netty that we will not feel sorry for them about their poor run of results.

We are going to add salt to their wounds.

I want to take this opportunity and acknowledge the good work done by Tsotso, Joel, Nato in the South African league.

Credit must go to Dipsy Selolwane among everybody else for paving way and opening doors for all of us in the South African league. Hat off to you mate.
