Botswana’s edutainment series Morwalela is back by popular demand.
The series that was aired on Btv in April will be aired every Wednesday at 9:00 with the first series having started this Wednesday.
According to Botho Tlhobogang of PSI Botswana, the main sponsors of the programme, the series has been brought back because of the overwhelming feedback it got from the audience.
“The series which generated interest and started conversations about way of life in Botswana will run for eight weeks. The new time slot is bound to attract more audience and feedback about the series,” she added.
The Botswana produced series is set in Botswana and focuses on everyday trials and thrills of life in a small fictitious village in Botswana. The series showcases the beauty of Botswana and the strength of its people.
It also shows joyful moments of romance, family, love and harder times of losing loved ones, financial difficulties and HIV/AIDS.
This series is developed by local writers Wame Molefhe and Lauri Kubuitsile and screenplay was written by director Peter Goldsmid
