Botswana’s only female Rhythms and Blues (R ‘n’ B) and Hip-Hop disc jockey, DJ CUPID (Laone Moala) is expected to headline tomorrow (Saturday)’s exclusive Masquerade Ball Nite Part II to be held at Cresta Thapama Hotel’s Pleasure Island.
Powered by Savanna, the occasion is one a befitting the festive season as a time of giving.
Organizers of the event revealed that the spirit of giving will be in the air as patrons are going to be assured of something free upon entry.
Mosa Puso, popularly known as MR CUE THE DJ in the disc jockeying industry said doors open at 8pm sharp and revelers to come as early as possible.
“For P100 entrance fee, a reveler is assured of three drinks of his or her choice,” Puso told Grooving in the Ghetto with Shingirai Madondo when approached for a comment early this week.
According to Puso, the event is one of the classiest ones to be held in Francistown and revelers are encouraged to dress to impress.
He said the sitting arrangement has been organized in such a way that people will have sit comfortably and enjoy the music and performances by the disc jockeys.
“If they (revelers) feel like dancing to the tunes, a dance floor has been specifically set for them,” he said.
All the way from the capital Gaborone, DJ CUPID will dish out the best hers that made the only female hip-hop disc jockey in the country.
Puso himself will be on the decks also while DJ KUD (Kuda Molebedi) will have the opportunity to give his fans an early Christmas.
