Giving this season’s hottest colours an African twist
Back in those days Leteisi (German Print) was limited to certain colours and prints, and now you can get limitless variety of this fabric.
These days It is possible to take catwalk trends from abroadand translate them into something wearable and suitable for our African landscape and climate.
The Voice Newspaper and Da Gama textiles in South Africa are giving you an opportunity to win yourself 25 metres of Leteisi in a combination of colourways and designs.
Several of this season’s hottest colours are available in Three Cats Leteisi and seeing that small to medium prints are the range this winter, Leteisi is the perfect fabric to choose this season.
If you do not sew yourself, have a seamstress whip up an original garment for you in a colour of your choice.
Leteisi comes in blue, red, orange, fuchsia and purple to mention a few of this winter’s fashion hues.
There are also a number of greens to choose from, for example malachite, teal and olive green.
Just make sure you are buying the real Leteisi.
All genuine Leteisi is characterised by the Three Cats trademark printed on the reverse side of the fabric.
The stamp with the trademark should include: Printed in South Africa by Da Gama Textiles. Any other trademark, or fabric without a trademark, is not original Leteisi.
