Kgori Capital appoints MD
NEW BROOM: Kgori Capital Managing Director, Alphonse Ndzinge

The Board of Directors at Kgori Capital (Pty) Limited has announced Alphonse Ndzinge as the new Managing Director with immediate effect.

Kgori’s Chairman, Tebogo Naledi, on behalf of the board stated, “We are very pleased with the appointment of Ndzinge as Managing Director. While it comes at a challenging time, it represents a very exciting future for the business as we embark on our next chapter with renewed purpose and vigor. Our resolve and will to serve our clients and our society remains sharply in focus.”

Ndzinge is a Founding Partner and Executive Director of Kgori Capital.

His current leadership responsibilities include serving on the Board of Kgori Capital as an Executive Director, participation in the various sub-committees of the Board as well as the Management Committee (MANCO) of Kgori Capital since inception of the firm in 2012.

Since inception, Ndzinge has been Chief Investment Officer of Kgori Capital and has developed and overseen all aspects of the firm’s investment management function.

Ndzinge will continue to oversee the investment management process with the support of senior members of the investment team without compromising Kgori’s promise of providing excellent investment outcomes for our clients.

He has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to co-Founding Kgori, Ndzinge held the position of Portfolio Manager at Investec Asset Management.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance and Management Information Systems (Summa Cum Laude) from The Richard J. Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University in the United States of America.

“This is a tremendous honour, and I cannot imagine a more important and exciting time for Kgori Capital,” said Ndzinge.

The MD position fell vacant when the former Managing Director of the investment management firm, Bakang Seretse resigned following his arrest in connection with money laundering charges in December last year.
