Speaking to The Voice Munyadzwe revealed that they had teamed up with the internationally renowned Club Jazz 105 0f Harare, Zimbabwe to fulfil their ambition of promoting local and international jazz artists.
“We have got the right to trade as Jazz 105 which will give us the necessary leverage to bring the best artists to Botswana. Jazz 105 is a reputable brand and they have the necessary experience and connections. With Jazz 105 we will not only bring artists from all over the world to Botswana but expose local jazz musos to the world as well”, an excited Munyadzwe said.
On another note Munyadzwe said besides staging live shows their operations will also host competitions involving local and international acts.
“Competing with artists from other countries will help our artists grow and this will in turn improve the local jazz industry which is in its infancy and has lots of potential” the jazz enthusiast said.
Munyadzwe went on to say that the jazz club which should be up and running in April will besides music also trade in food and clothes.
