Having walloped other institutions of higher learning under the Education sector for the second time consecutively at the Business Botswana Northern Trade Fair, Institute of Development Management (IDM) has proved they are unstoppable by scooping the 1st position again this year.
Business Botswana Northern Trade Fair which was held in Francistown at Showgrounds under the theme “Promoting Economic Growth Through Industrialization attracted multitudes of both exhibitors and spectators to the second city from the 24th-28th of May.
Some institutions that were in competition with UDM were Botswana Open University and Botswana Examination Council among others.
Speaking in an interview, IDM Francistown Campus Manger Elijah Moakofhi indicated that they a have a strategic plan that keeps them on top.
“We have launched our new strategic plan running until 2027 which helps with our internal business processes. We are always prepared for the Northern Trade Fair, so our presence is felt in the north which is in line with our strategy,” said Moakofhi
Exuding excitement over their win Mokakofhi, pledged to return to the fair again next year to get yet another award.
The institute of higher learning with branches in Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini offers courses like Early Childhood, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Management and Public Health just to mention a few.
They provide both full and part time studies in Francistown and Gaborone campuses.
