Rib cracking funny man Radijo will be rocking this Easter Holidays in the resort township of Maun.
Real name Radikgang Madiale, Radijo will be taking his act to the northwestern capital as he promotes his latest offering.
Earlier this year Radijo released his latest DVD called Radijo in Prison after his sins finally caught up with him.
From 26 -30 March the people of Maun will be treated to hilarious episodes at the Maun bus rank.
Music fans of Patricia Majalisa around the copper mining township of Phikwe and Francistown will be in for a treat this weekend as the South African musician is expected to launch her new album Akulalwa.
On Friday night, Majalisa and her friends in the music industry will be performing in Bobonong.
Majalisa whose music some have likened to that of Dan Tshanda of Matshikos, will be performing at the Community Hall.
The following evening (Saturday), Majalisa will be performing at Shashe Dam Bar.
The secluded spot some 20km southeast of Francistown overlooks Shashe Dam and is sure to be in full flow over the Easter holidays.
Majalisa is expected to perform alongside her friends such as talented local musician Thabo Mazolwane.
Admission prices for both gigs will be P70 with CD’s and T-shirts also available for sale.
FUN FILLED EASTER
The Annual Ghetto Easter Bunnies Hot Pants Party will be held at Monkey Lounge on Saturday night.
Scores of fun loving night crawlers will be trooping to the drinking spot in the up market location of Ntshe in the country’s second largest city.
DJ Bunz, DJ KUDA, DJ Pex and DJ Cuemax will be rocking on the ones and twos. Ladies clad in hot pants will enter free of charge.
At Dumela Lodge, DJ Da Drat has organized a beach volleyball tournament.
The event is starting at 10am on Saturday. Clubs have been urged to register.
The winner of the tournament is expected to walk away P1 000 richer.
An after party will follow the tournament where up to to fifteen disc jockeys are expected to take turns in entertaining people.
DJ Kops (Koziba Ntogwa) from Yarona FM will be among a host of popular disc jockeys taking part. Curtains come down around 3am on Sunday.
