Palapye Member of Parliament and Education Assistant Minister, Master Goya, this morning brought together Palapye women at the village kgotla to address them on matters affecting their children’s education and welfare.
The MP called on women to be at the forefront in motivating their children to get educated. “With education we can build better lives. We can also find ways to mitigate against the water and power situation we are in,” he said.
Goya further encouraged the women to, among other things, include books and educational material when they buy presents for their children.
Goya paid a Gabane based polka group to give Sebeso Primary School students some dance lessons. He also bought an attire for the students.
